  • Service Fulfillment: To dispatch crews, route trucks, and complete your move or pickup.
  • Communication: To send quotes, invoices, arrival notifications, and booking confirmations.
  • Safety & Liability: To assess risk, validate insurance claims, and ensure crew safety (e.g., noting heavy items).
  • Legal Compliance: To maintain records required by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) and Indiana Department of Revenue.

3. SMS & Text Message Policy

By providing your phone number to Preston-Schwartz Moving, you expressly consent to receive text messages from us regarding your service. These may include:

  • Appointment reminders.
  • "On my way" driver notifications.
  • Links to view your quote or invoice.

Opt-Out: You may reply STOP to any message to opt-out of SMS communications. Note that opting out may hinder real-time coordination on the day of your move.

4. Information Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share data only with:

  • Service Providers: Payment processors (Stripe/Square), email hosting services, and CRM software providers who assist our operations.
